Airframe
Tailwheel changed to 360 swiveling
Tailwheel new wheel installed after 400h, same as original
Flap handle cut 2 as per recommendation, relenghened to original
Navaid installed servo underneath pax seat.
Wind draught put covers over hole for aileron pushrods.
Canopy installed gas-springs for stabilising the canopy when open
Motormount changed motormount and gearlegs after parking mishap
Wheels changed tires after 400h
Spats new PR spats and plastic leg covers installed
Brakes brake pads changed every 200h. Cyl o-ring changed twice one side
Landing gear leg Retaining bolt hole in motormount enlarged due to leg vibrations fix: motormount hole bushed with cyl bushing.
Motormount again - new motormount due to fatigue brake on one support tube
Control System
Rudder trailing edge bent during lifting. Repair: riveted a .025 piece on the outside.
Elevator one hinge changed due to sticking, probably misaligned during original setup.
Rudder pedals rebuilt to hanging pedals.
Control rods all ballends greased and serviced
Avionics
Navaid installed Navaid in place for Turn and Bank
Hor Gyro rebuilt to 8dgr tilt
Nav/Com initial transmitting problems solved.
Battery third battery installed since 0h (forgot battery mains on)
moved battery to engine compartment - Odyssey P680 battery.
Main relay burnt several initally due to starter current through relay.
Headsets installed ANR
Headsets - changed to modern ANR Peltor.
Airspeed indicator changed after 250h.
TrueTrac - changed Navaid for TrueTrac - servo still Navaid
Engine, propeller
Propeller new after parking mishap
Propeller glassfibre separation rear side (small area)
Cylinders new exhaust valve guides installed after 600h running
Carb bowl level lowered for leaner running
Ignition system installed/ripped out LSI.
Oil cooler changed Van΄s original to Stewart Warner
Vaccum Pump - Changed after 850h, replaced with used IFR pump,550h
Baffling installed stiffeners
Baffling made temp measurements and installed forward small baffle plates cyl temp within 155dgr+/-3dgr
Exhaust tube no 4 cyl exhaust broke at cyl flange 200h (Allan Tolle exhaust no longer avail.)
Exhaust tubes unloaded to engine as far back as practical, crossbar and vertical
Muffler mufflers installed to each exhaust tube. Broke after a few h.
Ignition timing retimed right mag to approx 30 BTDC, gives smoother run and less fuelconsumption, about 5%.
Cabin heat new installed due to cracked chamber 650h
Prop threebladed prop installed at 980h
Carb - 10 years overhaul as per manufacturers SB.
Fuel system
Fuel pic-up pic up in right tank locked in bottom pos. No aerobatics.
Fuel level senders changed once (SkySport solid state)
Fuel tank covers changed due to center bolt worn out
Fuel tanks sloshing compound separating, tanks cleaned with MEK (225h)
Other
C of G installed 6kg counterweight in front of prop
