Having flown it for twenty years, first flight dec 1st 1991 at Barkarby and 1040h my decision is to sell my RV6. The airplane is always hangared, first at Barkarby and the last six years at Hoganas airfield. The airplane and its documents has been inspected 11-10-05, as required by Swedish EAA each five years, with no remarks. During the twenty years the motormount with gearlegs has been changed twice. First time, after 285h due to taxi misshap - pot-hole - and second time, after 950h due to crack at right gearleg. The airplane has been upgraded to all the mods and changes Vanīs has done to the RV6 during its lifetime, all listed here. The engine was purchased new from Vanīs 1991 and has been checked for corrosion, acc to swedish regulations three times without any remarks, the latest check 11-10-05. The mags where checked u/s whereas new has been mounted 11-10-16. The Carburator has been overhauled as per SB in 2010. The airplane is equiped as was standard early 1990, that is no "fancy" TV-screens or such. A Wingleveller, TruTrak with Navaid servo is used for steering information from a Bendix SkyMap GPS. Performance is RV6 standard with CruiseSpeed, fully loaded, 140kts, best climb 1200ft/min. Two pass of 165kg, full fuel and 12-15kg in bagage compartment, slightly overweight.
